TE ARA KĀKĀRIKI - Greendot Tours

  • Sunday 10th April - Lincoln Tour 10am – 12pm

Be guided by our ecologist through two sites on each tour, learning about why we are working to create a Greenway and how you can get involved by planting at your own property or as part of the Volunteer Canterbury Plantouts.

Visit a privately owned Greendot containing over 4,000 plants that have been installed by the landowner and Te Ara Kākāriki volunteers over the past five years. Next we head to Te Pae O Ahuriri, our first Legacy Site where 7,000 plants have been planted as part of our three year Jobs for Nature Project. (12 mins between sites) - see their website for more information
